Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and the counselling and mentorship services provided by ConfirmYourCollege ("ConfirmYourCollege", "we"). By booking a session you accept them.

What we provide

ConfirmYourCollege provides advisory academic counselling and career mentorship. We help you understand your options, build study and application plans, and prepare for exams, admissions and placements.

What we do not provide

This is the important section. We are not, and do not act as:

• An admission agent. We cannot secure, influence or guarantee admission to any institution. We have no arrangement with any college or university.
• A guarantor of outcomes. Examination results, ranks, admissions and job offers depend on your work and on factors outside anyone's control. Nothing we say is a promise of a result.
• A coaching institute. We advise on strategy and planning; we do not teach syllabus content.
• Financial advisers. We can explain how education loans generally work. We do not recommend lenders or products, and we are not authorised to give financial advice.
• Licensed counsellors or therapists. Our counselling is academic and career-related. If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a qualified professional — and tell us, so we can be sensible about deadlines.

Our independence

We accept no commission, referral fee, or payment of any kind from any college, university, coaching institute, publisher or lender. Our income is entirely the fees paid by students and families. If this ever changes, we will state it prominently before you pay us anything.

Booking and sessions

• A free counselling session may be offered at our discretion depending on your circumstances. It is not an unconditional offer, and no fee is payable to receive a reply to an enquiry.
• Paid plans are described on our pricing page. Plans are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically.
• Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule. Sessions missed without notice may be counted as delivered.
• We may reschedule a session for illness or emergency. We will offer a replacement slot promptly.
• You may request a different mentor at any time, for any reason, without explaining.

Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information. Advice built on incorrect marks or ranks will be wrong, and that will be nobody's fault but the input's.
• Verify official information — deadlines, eligibility, cutoffs and fees — directly with the institution or examining body. We take care to be accurate, but official sources change and they are the authority, not us.
• Do the work. We can build the plan; only you can follow it.
• If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian. We require their consent before working with you.

Payment

Fees are as published on the pricing page and are payable in Indian Rupees. Payment arrangements are confirmed before any work begins. Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Intellectual property

Study plans, roadmaps and written materials we prepare for you are yours to use for your own education. Articles, page content and design on this website remain ours; please do not republish them without permission, though you are welcome to link to and quote them.

Confidentiality

What you tell us in a session stays between you, your mentor and, where relevant, your parent or guardian. We will not publish your name, marks, rank or story anywhere without your written permission — and where you are under 18, your guardian's.

Limitation of liability

Our services are advisory. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from them is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for admission decisions, examination results, employment outcomes, or decisions you make on the basis of our advice.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may end an engagement if the relationship becomes abusive, if information given to us is materially false, or if fees go unpaid. Where we end an engagement without cause, we will refund the unused portion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Greater Noida,Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.
